SEL Focus: Kindness, empathy, anti-bullying, cooperation

A fun and engaging hands-on learning kit that teaches students the importance of kindness while learning the basics of gardening. Students explore empathy, cooperation, and respectful behavior while planting seeds and watching them grow—reinforcing that kind actions help communities flourish.

While sowing seeds of kindness TK through Kindergarten students learn empathy, positive behavior, and respectful interactions. The kit is paired with the lesson story “Teasing Is Not Nice” that allows students to reflect on real-life social situations, then apply learning through hands-on gardening using real tools. (As plants grow, students learn that kindness, like seeds, must be nurtured to thrive (Bi-lingual materials).
