SEL Focus: Self-regulation, mindfulness, emotional awareness

A calming, hands-on learning kit that helps students practice self-regulation while engaging in gardening activities. Students learn to slow down,

focus, and care for living plants—building patience, awareness, and emotional balance.

Sowing seeds of calm supports TK–K students in developing self-regulation and emotional awareness. Paired with the story One Of Those Days, students explore feelings and coping strategies while participating in mindful gardening activities. Using real tools to plant and care for seeds reinforces calm focus, responsibility, and care—both for plants and for themselves.

Kit Includes: Seed Pals storybook, Activity book, Child-safe garden tool set w/gloves, Soil discs, Biodegradable pot, Child-sized watering pot and calming resources.
